Packtime Innovations gets first Omet XFlex X6 press

New Delhi headquartered Packtime Innovations has invested in an Omet Xflex X6 narrow web combination printing and converting flexo press for its Pune plant.

The 8-color press with 530mm width features both UV and hot air drying options. It is equipped with one rotogravure station, two corona web treaters, web cleaner and an in-line camera system. The sale and installation has been completed by Weldon Celloplast, Omet’s distributor in India.

Anand Singh, vice president, Technical at Packtime Innovations said, ‘Omet machines are robust, operator friendly, ergonomically designed and adaptive to various inline processes. The machine is supported by highly skilled and knowledgeable team. Though this is the first flexo press installed at the plant, we have the capacity to add four more presses in the future at our factory.’
