Steinhauser purchases first MPS flexo press

Kentucky-based Steinhauser specializes in printing pressure-sensitive labels and shrink sleeves, in various materials including papers, films, metallics, foils and more. Industries served by Steinhauser include health and beauty, household, food and beverage and animal health and nutrition.

The 12-color EF 530 has been selected to meet quality requirements of existing and new potential customers in high-speed printing of premium labels and shrink sleeves. It replaces older label printing equipment. The press was installed in January 2019. An official ribbon cutting ceremony will take place on March 15.

Tara Halpin, CEO and owner at Steinhauser, commented: ‘We are 100 percent pleased with support and service from MPS. Our new press provides the increased productivity needed to meet our customers’ high-quality demands in flexo printing.’

Dilip Shah, Sr, technology and application support manager at MPS Systems North America, said: ‘Steinhauser was looking for the right equipment to print pressure-sensitive labels and shrink sleeves at high speed. After an in-depth consultation, we presented our press capabilities that echoed Steinhauser’s requirements in various demonstrations.

‘I’m thrilled Steinhauser is pleased with both our technology and expertise in overcoming printing challenges.’
