Two French converters invest in Konica Minolta AccurioLabel 190

French converters Imprimerie Souquet and Sud-Ouest Numérique have invested in AccurioLabel 190 digital label presses from Konica Minolta.

French double for Konica Minolta AccurioLabel 190

With a 330mm width and speed of up to 18.9m/min, the AccurioLabel 190 is an all-in-one digital toner press with integrated web guiding system, quality control area with viewing lights and in-line finishing option.

Imprimerie Souquet, based in Romans-sur-Isére, specializes in the printing of adhesive labels on reels. General manager Robert Tison impressed by the AccurioLabel 190’s production capacity and image quality. ‘This new press will enable us to continue to develop our business with confidence,’ he said.

Bordeaux digital print specialist Sud-Ouest Numérique invested in Konica Minolta's AccurioLabel 190 to help it open up new markets, particularly when it comes to meeting the quality and substrate variety demands of the wine market. With the AccurioLabel 190 it will be able to expand its offer with dry toner technology and deliver increasing flexibility in the face of tight production deadlines – 48 to 72 hours. The company already has a Konica Minolta AccurioPress C3080 digital press.

Alain Duler, CEO of Sud-Ouest Numérique, said: ‘The AccurioLabel 190 will allow us to improve productivity not only because of its speed but also because of its 330 width. We were also particularly impressed by the image quality and color reliability. We will now be able to meet high levels of requirements or specific requests such as matt finish for example.’
