Rotocontrol has installed a complete inspection, slitting and rewinding system at 5i Conseil in France based on the Rotocontrol RSI 340 inspection machine, AVT Helios inspection system and Domino inkjet technology. The system provides training to operators across Europe, and was initiated by TMT Labels, the French distributor of Rotocontrol products.

‘Rotocontrol views the investment in training on inspection, slitting, rewinding machine technology critical to the narrow web industry and [we] are honored to be included in this initiative,’ said Ralph Beier, international sales manager for Rotocontrol. ‘We also appreciate the system integration and support provided by our partners including 5i Conseil, AVT, Domino and especially TMT Labels who initiated and led the program.’

Eric Judek, consultant with 5i Conseil, commented: ‘We are continually seeking state-of-the-art technology for our training facility. We train operators on a wide variety of materials and we can now include inspection and inkjet printing as well. TMT Labels recommended the system we have now incorporated Rotocontrol, AVT and Domino which will benefit operators across Europe who train in our facility.’

5i Conseil is a team of professionals which offers customized training and technical consulting in printing processes, packaging, materials and on production management.
