UK-based Ashe Converting Equipment has announced a number of recent installations of its finishing equipment.

Lattice Labels, based in St Neots, UK, has invested in an Opal inspection slitter rewinder with a 410mm web width. Another UK converter, Sudbury-based Sharp Labels, has installed an Opal 4 spindle ‘glueless’ turret rewinder, an in-line unit which the company has switched between presses to enable versatile production scheduling.

In Spain, meanwhile, Girona-based Ingogroup has installed a servo driven in-line spindle turret rewinder. After two months of use, the label converter has reported savings in production costs.

The servo control system within the Ashe machines are said to offer ease of operation for slitting and rewinding various material substrates.
