Key suppliers from the label industry joined UK converter Baker Self Adhesive Label for its recent golf day at Burstead Golf Club, Essex, helping to raise over £2,000 for The Helen Rollason Cancer Charity.

‘We were supported by employees, family and friends as well as our suppliers,’ said Mandy Baker, finance manager. ‘Sponsors of the event included Fujifilm Sericol, AB Graphic, Flexcon, Webmaster, Madico, UPM Raflatac, Fasson, Holfield and Corporate Supplies. All sponsored holes around the golf course with HP donating baseball caps, balls and tee sets. We should like to thank everyone for their support and plan to make this a regular part of our work for charity.’

Established in 1973 and based in London, Baker Self Adhesive Label prints and converts labels using flexography, letterpress or digital printing technology and also offers screen and wide format digital print capability. Material supply and coating are also an important part of the company’s operation and its affiliated company Baker Self Adhesive Materials is an HP Indigo Treatment Center and the distribution center for Fasson, Madico, Arjobex and Tyvek.
