Effective July 1, 2008, or as contracts allow, BASF will increase prices in Europe, Africa and Western Asia for polymer dispersions and additives by €80-100 per metric ton and for polymer powders by €160 per metric ton. The products affected by this price increase are used as polymers for adhesives, binders for fibers, architectural coatings and construction chemicals.
