DuPont Packaging Graphics to offer webinar

DuPont Packaging Graphics will present a ‘Back to Basics’ webinar on Thursday, December 4, 2008, at 1:00 p.m. that is designed to help flexo platemakers produce consistent, high-quality printing plates. The 45-minute webinar, the first of a series, will focus on the why, when and how of performing the back exposure and main exposure steps for all DuPont Cyrel platemaking systems, including Cyrel Fast and digital plates.

‘We’re all moving very quickly these days and with the pressures of daily activities it’s easy to forget some of the basic steps that lead to quality platemaking,’ said Sherry Cunningham, technical manager – packaging graphics North America. ‘We’ve put this series of webinars together so that everyone, from beginner to seasoned pro, can take advantage of what we know about consistent, quality platemaking as a result of our work with tradeshops and converters around the world.’

Presenters for this live workshop are Charlotte Cushing, senior technical analyst, and Wayde Clark, senior technical specialist, DuPont packaging graphics North America. Participants will be able to interact directly with the presenters during and after the seminar for questions and answers. Presentations and video will be used to demonstrate the concepts.
