UK press manufacturer Edale held its first ever distributor training event on March 23-25 at its head office in Hampshire. Distributors from all over the world participated in three full days of training to enhance their knowledge of both Edale and Agfa Graphics products.

On the first day the distributors were shown around the offices and taken on a tour of the factory, before a product presentation of the Agfa Dotrix products. The second day saw presentations and demonstrations on the full Edale product portfolio including new product information, sales procedures and the long term marketing plan. On the final day, distributors received one-to-one training and Q&A sessions on specific machines.

Harry Seebus, of Seebus Special Paper, commented: ‘Edale has a proven track record of listening and understanding its clients’ needs and delivering first-class solutions in the form of really high tech machinery. I am proud to be joining the team, together with the enthusiastic distributors of various other countries. This three-day training has boosted not only the knowledge on the products but also the cooperative spirit of all people involved, both Edale staff as well as other distributors.’

Edale plans to hold distributor training events on an annual basis.
