ETI Converting Equipment showed its Cohesio machine for the manufacture of self-adhesive labels at Labelexpo Europe, equipped with silicone and adhesive units.

The latest generation of the machine is fully servo-driven and has several updated features, including a new coating head; a corona treatment system which allows better adhesion; an adjustable anvil to provide fine tuning of the cutting depth; and an in-line adhesive coat weight measurement system.

Immediately after the show, ETI hosted its annual ‘International Label Group’ (IGL) meeting, made up of companies using ETI technology. The event was opened by a speech from Jonathan Bourbonnire, president of Etiquettes Multi-Action, and the presentation of new members. It was followed by Frederic La Brie, president and COO of ETI Converting Equipment, presenting the latest technologies developed by the company’s R&D department.
