Flint Group completes acquisition of Torda

Flint Group has completed the acquisition of packaging ink manufacturer Torda. 

Torda is a manufacturer of printing inks for the packaging markets in northern Europe, the Balkans and the Middle East with a substantial presence in eastern Europe. The company generated revenues of approximately 23m euros in 2009. 

‘We will now focus to quickly develop the significant potential of the Torda business within Flint Group's global packaging inks business building on the excellent fit of Torda’s business model with respect to its geographic reach and its product portfolio,’ said Dr Dirk Aulbert, president of Flint Group’s global packaging and narrow web division.
