Brady Worldwide, a global supplier of anti-counterfeiting and brand protection label products, has been selected by HP as its supplier of anti-counterfeit security labels for use on select packaging of HP’s printer cartridges.

The labels have been developed with numerous layers of authentication features built in, though for security reasons additional details pertaining to the seals and label designs have not been disclosed.

According to Frank Jaehnert, Brady’s president and chief executive officer, this agreement with HP demonstrates the credibility and capabilities of Brady’s brand protection business. ‘HP's products are among the most reliable in the world,’ said Jaehnert. ‘Brady Corporation is proud to help protect the HP brand.’

‘HP is committed to our customers and we will vigorously defend our customers’ trust in the quality and reliability of HP products,’ said Dave Kellar, senior packaging engineer, Inkjet Supplies, HP. ‘We’re confident Brady’s brand protection technology and labels will keep our brand secure and in turn continue to secure the trust and loyalty of our customers.’
