India Label Show update

Posted in Latest News on March 07, 2008

The tremendous growth of the Indian label market is persuading leading international suppliers to commit to the India Label Show, which will take place this December in New Delhi.

Annual growth rates of 14-20 percent are proving hard to ignore, as companies such as Mark Andy, Gallus, Nilpeter, Gidue, Erhardt + Leimer, UPM Raflatac and Zeller Gmelin book into the event. High levels of interest have also been reported from local printers and manufacturers.

The event will provide local and international companies with the opportunity to share knowledge and create partnerships for the mutual benefit of their businesses.

This year’s show will boast a large amount of working machinery on-site – with Nilpeter, Gallus and Rotatek bringing running presses to the event and US companies Martin Automatic and Sonic Solutions exhibiting for the first time.

The presence of RFID technology suppliers Mhlbauer and bielomatik is a reflection of the increasing importance of India as a global sourcing center, particularly in the apparel sector.

The India Label Show will also welcome a number of suppliers from China and other parts of Asia, including Techsun, Hangzhou Todaytec, Huzhou Unifull, and WanHong Machinery.
