James Langley, President of the Eastman Kodak Graphic Communications Group, will be the keynote speaker at the Creo Users Association (CUA) Conference, to be held May 18-21, 2005 in Hollywood, Florida, USA. The Creo Users Association is an independent worldwide network of users of Creo systems.
"We're very excited to present Jim Langley as our keynote speaker. In general, the CUA promotes effective communication between users, Creo developers and the company leadership. We hope this keynote speech will provide Creo customers with an overview of what they may expect from a future with Kodak," said Rich Dunklee, president, CUA.
On January 31, 2005, Creo announced that it has entered into an arrangement agreement to be acquired by Eastman Kodak Company. The boards of directors of Kodak and Creo have approved the proposed transaction, subject to the satisfaction of certain conditions, including shareholder approval and receipt of customary regulatory and court approvals.
In addition to the keynote speech to be made by James Langley, Jeff
Jacobsen, who will become the Chief Operating Officer of the Graphic
Communications Group, will also attend the conference. Jacobsen, along with Creo President Judi Hess and Creo Chief Executive Officer Amos Michelson, will participate in the ‘bullpen’ where Creo customers ask tough questions of the panel members.
