The Rochester Institute of Technology has certified two new substrates for use on the HP Indigo 5000 and 5500 presses: Masterpiece Premium 6 mil White Wall Graphix Vinyl/90# Liner and Masterpiece Premium 3.25 mil White Vinyl/Permanent Adhesive/90# Liner. Both materials passed the certification test with the highest possible ratings.

Masterpiece Premium 3.25 mil White Vinyl/Permanent Adhesive/90# Liner is constructed with a white vinyl face sheet and a permanent acrylic adhesive. The adhesive was developed to provide high tack and medium shear with good chemical resistance. It provides a permanent adhesion to a wide variety of surfaces and resists cold flow and ooze. Applications include packaging labels, machine safety labels, instruction labels, and labels needing to stick to a broad variety of surfaces including low and high surface energy plastics, painted metal, powder coated paint, and polycarbonate.

Masterpiece Premium 6 mil White Wall Graphix Vinyl has a removable and repositionable adhesive that provides controlled tack, easy repositioning, and clean removal from most surfaces, including floors, windows and painted walls. The 6 mil white vinyl face sheet provides a durable and chemically resistant surface suitable for both indoor and outdoor applications. Other applications include: POP signage, floor advertising, decorative wall graphics, window graphics, masking, mouse pads, and counter pads.
