MLC plans Latin American expansion

MLC, a Brazilian manufacturer of rotary tooling and cylinders, is investing in new equipment for flexible tooling in order to expand its presence in the Latin American market.

The investment will increase the company’s production capacity by 50 percent, while the company says it is also focusing on the improvement of internal processes in order to make it more competitive.  

Increasing its focus on potential clients in other parts of South America is already producing results, says the company. ‘We have seen our exports rise by six times in the last four years,’ said Manoel Lopes, director of MLC.
