Rohm and Haas announces price increases in Europe

Rohm and Haas is to increase prices in Europe across its range of products, to offset the worldwide impact of raw material, feedstock, energy and freight-related cost increases in recent weeks.

’The continuing escalation in petrochemical feedstocks, raw material and energy related costs in Europe and around the rest of the world requires a continued focus on pricing,’ says Pierre Brondeau, vice president and regional director, Europe. ‘The current outlook for raw material and energy related costs remain challenging and for these extraordinarily high costs to remain, across the globe, well into 2006.’
