Rohm and Haas launches in Turkey

Rohm and Haas Company has opened a new office in Gebze, Turkey, located 50 km east of Istanbul. Rohm and Haas Kimyasal rnler Dagitim ve Ticaret A.S., will be a marketing and sales office serving the paint and coatings industry, as well as, the textile, paper, and non-wovens industry. The staff will provide product and service solutions specifically relevant to the Turkish market place.
“We are delighted to be physically present here in Turkey,” says Dr. Andrew Trapani, general manager of the new company. “Turkey is going to be one of the fastest growing markets over the coming years. Being located here, close to our customers, we can be more responsive to their needs, and help them grow more efficiently and profitably.”
“This office will serve the growing needs of the Central Asia and Middle East markets,” Haluk Ersen, chief operating officer says. “Our proximity to these important markets will enable us to respond better to their specific dynamics and requirements. Identifying and pursuing growth opportunities with our customers is a key priority”
