Products printed using Flint Group Flexographic Products’ plates and sleeves won 54 percent of the prizes at the eighth annual Asian Flexographic Technical Association (AFTA) Flexo and Label Printing Awards in Malaysia.

Around 350 guests gathered for the awards dinner, where the 35 winners of gold, silver and bronze awards were announced from over 700 entries.

Products printed with nyloflex plates gained seven gold, nine silver and three bronze awards. The company reports that since the beginning of the AFTA awards, Flint Group printing plates have on average accounted for above 50 percent of the winning plates.

Additionally, users of Flint’s rotec sleeve range accounted for all winners in the sleeve categories.

Roy Schöttle, sales director Asia, Flint Group Flexographic Products, commented: ‘I congratulate all winners of the eighth AFTA awards competition and would like to encourage all flexo printers to continue with their ambition for high quality printing and friendly competition.’
