Sys Tec Converting signs deal with Weldon Celloplast

Italy-based Sys Tec Converting has signed an agreement with Weldon Celloplast for the distribution of its products in India.

Weldon will distribute Sys Tec’s range of plate mounting, hot foil plate mounting and corrugated cardboard plate mounting machines in India, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and Nepal.

Weldon Celloplast, founded in 1982 by Harveer Singh Sahni, was one of the first companies in India to start local production of tapes and release papers as well as self-adhesive labelstocks.

Weldon recently set up a separate marketing division to offer its customers international consumables as well as equipment and accessories for the Indian narrow web label printers. The new division is lead by Pawandeep Singh Sahni, operations director and son of the founder.

ST Converting, founded in 1994, is a company specialized in flexographic engineering. ST Converting has produced more than 250 plate mounting machine for wide and narrow web applications.
