UK converter Systems Labelling has been presented with the ‘Innovation Award’ at the 2008 Flintshire Business Awards, which recognize the efforts of outstanding companies and individuals that help maintain the county's prosperity by providing jobs and supporting the community.

Flintshire County Council selected Systems Labelling for its track record of developing innovative products for the packaging industry. The category, sponsored by Glyndwr University, looked for evidence of commercial success with customer and business benefits resulting from innovation.

The event, held at Northop Country Park, was attended by director Gwyn Bouch, who commented: ‘We are delighted to receive this award, national industry awards are important but equally pleasing is the recognition of our contribution to the local economy. Our appetite for growth through innovation continues and with the addition of a site in Runcorn will broaden our contribution to local industry.’
