Tego RC silicones celebrate 25th anniversary

Posted in Latest News on August 30, 2010

In 1985, after many years of development and testing, Th. Goldschmidt AG introduced to the silicone release liner market the radiation curing Tego RC silicones.

The technology, now in its fourth generation of products, provides instant cure with compact curing equipment and applies no heat stress on the substrate.

Tego RC silicones are suited to use with papers liner that need absolute lay-flat, temperature sensitive substrates like thermal printing tapes, and films such as PE and PP.

In the last 10 years, Th. Goldschmidt AG has gone through a number of name changes and ownership, from Goldschmidt SKW followed by Degussa, and in 2007, changing to Evonik Goldschmidt.

The company will be present at Labelexpo Americas on stand 5300.
