Wacker to raise dispersion prices in Europe

Wacker Polymers is to raise its prices in Europe for Vinnipas and Vinnol dispersions. Effective July 1 2010, prices for these dispersions will be increased by up to 80 euros per ton, or as customer contracts allow.  

The company says that the measure has been necessitated by the rise in raw material costs. Vinnipas and Vinnol dispersions are applied in a variety of industries, ranging from modern building products to adhesives, nonwovens, paints and coatings, paper, carpet and textiles.
