Chandan  Khanna, managing director, Ajanta Packaging, said: ‘We have a long term commitment to this market. Apart from the machinery, we continue to invest in people and capabilities in Thailand. This unit will be capable of manufacturing complex labels while also offering unique innovations to the Thai market. Our focus has been to consistently deliver high quality products.’

The unit started production in 2013 and spans across an area of 1500 sq ft. It now houses two Iwasaki intermittent rotary offset presses, two fully loaded Nilpeter MO flexo presses alongside flatbed registered die-cutting units, slitter rewinders and a host of finishing equipment.

Though Ajanta Packaging is catering to a variety of industries in Thailand, its main focus is towards home and personal care industries. With increased reach and production capacities, the company is looking at catering to neighboring high growth economies including Indonesia and Myanmar.
