Alpha-Cure is targeting growth in emerging economies by appointing agents to increase its customer base

Ross Hayward, Alpha-Cure international sales manager, said: ‘The Middle East is a small market for Alpha-Cure, but we are looking at growing our customer base in Jordan and Saudi Arabia. We have a few customers in the region and are working on growing the numbers. South America is also a growing market for us. Though we have agents in Brazil and Argentina, we are looking for agents in Chile and Peru.’

Talking of the South East Asian market, Hayward said that Thailand was performing very well and that the company is looking at appointing agents in Vietnam and Indonesia next year.

Represented by Antonia in Egypt and with Technilamp catering to the South African market, Alpha-Cure is now looking at moving into East Africa as well. ‘We will have discussions with some companies that we met during Labelexpo Europe 2015.’

As for India, he said that the market was growing rapidly and getting better. Alpha-Cure is represented by Reprographics in the country.

The company, a regular participant at Labelexpo Europe, received many enquiries and received a few orders as well. ‘It was a successful show for us. We received good feedback from customers and enjoyed being at the exhibition,’ Hayward concluded.
