APR offers Colordyne Technologies digital press

APR has been actively representing Colordyne’s 3600 Series AQ Retrofit system for years and the new 2800 series mini laser pro expands the company’s digital offerings to label converters of all sizes, serving all end-use categories.

The 2800 series mini laser pro is a standalone in-line digital platform consisting of a four-color aqueous inkjet print engine and fully integrated in-line laminating and digital laser die cutting system. The 2800 series is an entry-level press providing converters with an affordable way to produce high-resolution inkjet labels for even the smallest run sizes and personalized applications.

APR’s vice president of business development, Richard Black, said: ‘Colordyne’s new 2800 series mini laser pro is a real game changer both for APR, and for the US label converting industry. This is an affordable digital inkjet offering that meets ink compliance standards in the food and beverage industry, in addition to providing label converters with a fully integrated laser die cutting option. Even for the smallest run sizes, the cost of a flexible die is still an issue with the added necessity of having to die cut offline for most digital press systems. This is eliminated with the 2800 Series Mini Laser Pro and offers label converters a truly economical way to acquire a turnkey, high-resolution digital press.’
