A&R Carton and Packages collaborate

A&R Carton and Packages Limited have partnered for manufacturing, procurement, sales and marketing in Pakistan and neighboring markets for packaging made out of cardboard or other materials in combination with cardboard.

A&R Carton, based in Sweden, is a subsidiary of European packaging company AR Packaging. Packages Limited runs its operations from Lahore in Pakistan.

Harald Schulz, president and CEO of AR Packaging, said: ‘In line with our strategy to expand our footprint outside Europe, our partnership with Packages Limited will further strengthen our platform and benefit our global customer base. After having been a founding partner of Packages Limited in 1956, we are very pleased to join forces with such an established company again to collaborate on new target markets.’

Syed Hyder Ali, CEO of Packages Limited, commented: ‘I am pleased to announce this partnership agreement with AR Packaging, which helped to set up Packages Limited in 1957. This will further strengthen our domestic market position and give us entry to international markets. We will be able to leverage AR Packaging’s technology and know-how. This partnership will allow us to better serve our customers.’

This agreement does not constitute a joint venture or equity participation.
