Avery Dennison upgrades distribution in Australia

The new facility houses sales and warehousing functions and will serve as the key distribution hub for the company's label and graphic materials (LGM), and Reflectives products to customers along the east coast of Australia.

According to Chris Kilgour, commercial director for label and packaging materials, Avery Dennison Australia and New Zealand, the new distribution center represents the company’s strategic commitment to its customers and suppliers, incorporating an undertaking of next-day delivery to customers in Brisbane and Sydney.

Previously operating from a smaller location in Acacia Ridge, the new center is certified to 5 Green Star rating, a benchmark for sustainable design and energy efficiency.
