DigiFlex appoints Variant as agent in Russia

DigiFlex has named Variant as its distributor for Russia, a country it sees as one of its ‘highest priorities’ in its expansion in Europe.

The DigiFlex FlexoJet 1725 is an inkjet-based computer-to-plate (CtP) system for photopolymer flexographic, letterpress, dry-offset and screen printing technologies, and allows high quality, affordable analog plate materials to be imaged digitally.

Hezy Rotman, chief executive officer of DigiFlex, said: ‘Russia is one of our highest priorities in our geographical expansion marketing plan in Europe. We are glad to have Variant as our strategic business partner in this region.’

Andrey Pavlov, general director of Variant, said described CtP as an ‘active-developing direction’ in the Russian flexo market, with the DigiFlex system offering ‘obvious’ economic benefits. ‘This is what the market needs,’ Pavlov said. ‘We are happy to start cooperation between Variant and DigiFlex.

‘CtP systems are one of the active-developing directions in the flexo market, and we are sure that this partnership will bring success to both companies.’
