Dow Corning Corporation will launch new silicone crosslinkers and release coatings in its Syl-Off Advantage Series product line at the India Label Show.

The Syl-Off Advantage Series, which provides many choices for customers to meet their needs, is an extensive line of low-platinum, solventless release coating products. The Advantage Series offers cure below 35 ppm platinum and low misting with good coverage. Today more than 80 coaters in 25 countries utilize the Advantage Series. Dow Corning’s recent additions to the lineup require even lower platinum levels and offer the ability to use a wider range of substrates.

‘The platinum market continues to be unstable,’ said Norm Kanar, global release segment team leader for Dow Corning. ‘By using Dow Corning’s low-platinum Advantage Series, our customers are less vulnerable to the swings in platinum prices. Plus, our new crosslinkers and release coatings provide improved performance and many choices to meet customers’ needs.’

In addition to the Advantage Series, Dow Corning will display its emulsion release coating series. The company also will feature its silicone pressure sensitive adhesives and its coating solutions for many different film types and grades, from temperature-sensitive substrates to unprimed polyester.

The India Label Show is the largest event for the label, product decoration, and converting industry in India and will take place December 3-6, 2008, at Pragati Maidan in New Delhi.
