Electro Optic extends global sales network

In addition to subsidiaries in Atlanta, USA, and Mumbai, India, and various agencies representing Electro Optic in all major markets, Tooling4You has been appointed as the company’s new representative for the Netherlands.

Dietmar Becker, Electro Optic sales and service manager, says: ‘The partnership with Tooling4You, represented by their managing director Sietze de Kievit, optimizes the support of our customers in the Netherlands and the Dutch speaking part of Belgium. Tooling4You is a trading and consulting company with more than 20 years of experience in the self-adhesive label market. Well skilled tooling specialists provide full support and service onsite’.

As previously reported in L&L, in North America, Bunting Magnetics and Electro Optic US have announced a narrow web flexographic printing and converting partnership that will see Bunting magnetic cylinders and Electro Optic US flexible dies offered through a single source.  As a result, and effective immediately, Electro Optic US is the sole distributor of Bunting magnetic cylinders to label printers in the US and Canada.

Electro Optic US president Markus Marfurt said: ‘Our collaboration with Bunting Magnetics brings together the finest magnetic cylinders available and the world-renowned Electro Optic flexible dies. This arrangement will streamline the supply chain for these critical items, and ensure that printers and converters can look to a single source.’

Bunting Magnetics printing product manager Michael Wilks said: ‘Because magnetic cylinders are an infrequent purchase, we gain sales and service efficiencies by using the Electro Optic US sales organization for distribution. We look forward to a long and productive relationship with this most highly regarded flexible die producer.’

Electro Optic U.S., Inc. in Atlanta, GA, was founded in 2003 to service the Americas. In 2012, a fully equipped manufacturing facility was added to Electro Optic U.S.
