ERA extends Packaging Gravure Award 2015 deadline

The European Rotogravure Association (ERA) has extended the deadline for entries to its Packaging Gravure Award 2015 competition, which it has described as ‘the opportunity for all participants in the production chain to show gravure quality in packaging printing’.

ERA has extended the deadline for its Packaging Gravure Award 2015 competition until August 31

Award categories cover: flexible packaging, subdivided into substrate types (paper, film, foil and laminates); shrinkwrap sleeves; labels; cartonboard; and speciality, security and ‘intelligent’ printing, including printed electronics. An innovation prize for technical developments and new fields of application will also be awarded, as will a prize for the best entry from a company which never entered before and a prize for the best use of a PDF-based workflow.

Entries must be printed in 2014 or 2015, and awards will be presented at the 2015 ERA Packaging and Decorative Conference, to be held on November 3-4 in Izmir, Turkey.

The competition is open to both members and non-members of ERA from anywhere in the world, and entries may be made by any partner in the production chain, including those involved in the design and repro, and the printer and brand owner. The innovation prize is also open to suppliers of equipment, materials, software, etc.

The closing date for entries was July 31 but has now been extended to August 31.
