ETI-RDP alliance brings Memjet inkjet to Mini-Cohesio

ETI Converting Equipment has added a JFlex digital printing unit to its Cohesio equipment following the signing of a stragetic alliance between ETI president Maxime Bayzelon and Eric Short, president of RDP Marathon. This will transform the Mini-Cohesio into a digital inkjet platform production label line.

Mini-Cohesion line adds digital module

The IPT inkjet unit uses water-based Memjet inkjet technology, imaging 14 micron dots at 1600 x 1375dpi at speeds up to 70 m/min (225ft/min). The unit is CMYK with provision for an optional fifth color. Combined with ETI's Pellicut technology, which enables die-cutting on very thin liner, this will allow printers to produce small and medium runs of finished labels.

The new digital Mini-Cohesio machine will be demonstrated at Labelexpo Europe 2015 on the ETI stand from September 29th to October 2nd.

ETI Converting Equipment launched Mini-Cohesio at Labelexpo Europe 2013 as a more compact version of the existing Cohesio system.
