Faes Group has sold subsidiary Faes SRT to Edelmann Technology Group.

Faes said Faes SRT is ideally positioned to further develop the company in cooperation with other companies of the Edelmann Technology Group

Faes was founded in Richterswil in 1912 and has established a name as a supplier in the area of precision parts production and assembly of modules, systems and machines for third parties at Wollerau and Mels, Switzerland, as well as in Jihlava, Czech Republic.

As of December 1, 2015, Faes SRT was spun off from the parent company in Wollerau to focus on the production of slitting and rewinding machines for high-tech films and foils.
