Flint acquires Printec Industries to strengthen its position in North America

Located in Marietta, Georgia, Printec supplies products to a group of key printers in the region. Flint Group stated that the addition of Printec strengthens its position and support to the paper and board segment in North America.

Printec was founded in 1991 and is a supplier of inks for folding cartons, paper cups, plates and other specialty applications. Flint Group’s Packaging & Narrow Web division manufactures and supplies inks and coatings to the paper and board, flexible packaging, narrow web and sheet-fed segments around the world. 

With the intent of expanding its packaging businesses in the North American region, Flint Group has recently acquired Advanced Color Systems and American Inks and Coatings, as reported here and here respectively. The addition of Printec is another step in its ‘strategic journey’ to support customers in this region.
