Folmex invests in Comexi F4

Mexico’s Folmex has signed an agreement to take a Comexi F4, its seventh flexo press from the flexible packaging machinery manufacturer.

Comexi F4 is able to print eight colors with different formats from 240mm to 600mm, print widths of 720-920mm and a speed of 300/min. The press features pipeless magnetic blades, patented by Comexi, allowing the printing unit to change in less than one minute. A direct drive system synchronizes the central drum and the mandrels. This process is possible through encoders mounted directly on the axis, improving the reading accuracy and print register.
