Gallus brings New Zealand operations into line with global direct distribution strategies

From January 1, 2015, responsibility for Gallus equipment sales and service will be directed by newly-established entity, Gallus Oceania, with Heidelberg in New Zealand taking on responsibility for Gallus sales and service in a move influenced by the growing digital rapport being developed by Gallus with Heidelberg and Fujifilm.

As a result of the change Auckland-based Converting Technology NZ, which has had a 20-year business partnership with Gallus, will cease to distribute its equipment.

Gallus Australia managing director James Rodden delivered the news of the change to the company’s distribution model to its dozen or so customers in New Zealand.

Gallus is to introduce the DCS 340 engine, announced recently, next year.
