GEW Rhino power supply launches in India

GEW says energy saving is the key feature of the Rhino technology, which approaches 95 percent efficiency. GEW says existing users have seen savings of over 50 percent in their energy consumption, in many cases this has allowed additional presses to be installed without increasing incoming mains capacity.

GEW managing director Malcolm Rae said: 'Rhino sets the new benchmark in effective UV technology, enabling our customers to print faster for longer, with less energy and no downtime. At Labelexpo India GEW’s complete UV system technology will be on display.'

Around the world mains power supplies are under strain, resulting in dips, sags, spikes and noise. GEW says Rhino is designed to be immune to all these factors, and the unit is guaranteed a safe shutdown with no damage when an out of tolerance event occurs, recording what has happened for later analysis.

Rhino is rugged, capable of withstanding elevated ambient temperature, high levels of dust, humidity and air contamination. The patented Rhino Rack protects the power supplies in a compact enclosure and is easy to install.

Rhino has a fully remote service capability allowing real time monitoring of all system performance parameters. Rhino comes with a five year warranty.

Labelexpo India, the biggest labels and packaging show in South Asia, is being organized at Pragati Maidan in New Delhi from October 29 to November 1.
