Global Vision, a provider of automated proofreading solutions, will be exhibiting its graphical inspection capabilities at Graph Expo, September 9-12, 2007 in Chicago. Global Vision will be giving live demonstrations at booth 5435 on how Digital-Page can prevent copy and artwork related errors on all graphic files.

‘Our clients are printing thousands of graphic files each and every year and it is important for them to be able to ensure the accuracy of all printed material,’ said Reuben Malz, president of Global Vision. ‘Guaranteeing print perfection is essential to client satisfaction and avoiding costly reprints. Global Vision solutions give our clients a cost effective, easy-to-use solution that will identify all defects for them.’

Digital-Page, an automated artwork comparator, is a solution for automatically comparing graphic files ‘in seconds instead of hours’, says the company. It detects and identifies graphical and textual changes between two documents, such as incorrect fonts, broken type, color deviations, registration errors and missing or added text.Digital-Page is claimed to dramatically increase packaging accuracy, reduce inspection time and significantly decrease the chances of re-prints.

Scanner and camera-based hardware solutions allow for the complete inspection of items such as labels, cartons, inserts and leaflets, and can accommodate the largest range of press sheets.
