Harper funds flexo press for Phoenix Challenge Foundation

PCF is an organization of industry professionals who are dedicated to encouraging today's youth in exploring the exciting career opportunities available to them through the flexographic printing industry. Its 2014 Phoenix Challenge Golf Tournament raised a record amount to support flexo and graphic arts education.

Harper is a strong supporter of education, sponsoring and participating in numerous initiatives to raise funds for programs, scholarships, and other causes. It proudly supports PCF’s efforts to create, inspire, build, and grow tomorrow’s workforce in the flexographic printing industry. It was a sponsor of the 2014 Phoenix Challenge Golf Tournament.

It will be installing the newly purchased Mark Andy 830 press at Illinois Central College in East Peoria, Illinois. The press will be a step toward helping to start the flexo program within the college and give students a better opportunity to learn hands-on skills through using the press and expand their knowledge.
