IIMAK and DuPont enter Tyvek distribution agreement in Brazil and Mexico

Tyvek is a durable barrier technology that can replace paper, fabric and plastic in the production of promotional materials, books, giveaways, clothes, bags, tags and labels. Tyvek is also suitable for banners, posters, manuals, textbooks, children's books, recipe books, technical manuals and envelopes, as well as reusable shopping bags, gym bags, backpacks, shoes, jackets and covers.

IIMAK da Amazônia is an authorized distributor of Tyvek in Brazil, whilst IIMAK IDISA is an authorized distributor of Tyvek in Mexico.

‘IIMAK forged a distribution relationship with DuPont Tyvek because it fits well within IIMAK’s converting capabilities and sales channels to Latin American and Brazilian label converters,’ said Scott Surma, vice president of new business development at IIMAK. ‘Many of our customers already buy Tyvek and we can now offer the ability to consolidate their supply base by combining orders with thermal transfer ribbons and related products – such as nylon and self-wound overlaminated films – while leveraging our best-in-class customer service..’
