ILS designated as world's first Color-Logic certified HP Indigo 8000 and 20000 facility

Color-Logic has designated Innovative Labeling Solutions (ILS) as the world's first Color-Logic certified HP Indigo 8000 and HP Indigo 20000 facility.

ILS is an award-winning digital label and packaging company located just outside Cincinnati, Ohio.  The company offers pressure-sensitive labels, shrink sleeves and flexible packaging to customers across the consumer products industry. It runs a fleet HP Indigo digital presses, as well as finishing equipment for hot stamping, embossing and specialty varnishes.

ILS has been a licensed Color-Logic printer since 2011. The new certification will allow it to utilize the Color-Logic metallic color communication system and decorative effect technology on a wider range of substrates, according Mark Geeves, sales and marketing director at Color-Logic.

‘The choice to become certified on both the 8000 and 20000 is in keeping with our philosophy of bringing breakthrough solutions to our clients,’ explained Jay Dollries, ILS president and CEO.

‘The new capabilities extend our offerings into flexible packaging and shrink sleeves, and open more possibilities for brands to efficiently create eye-catching, metallic special effects that differentiate products on the shelf. Combining variable-data printing with Color-Logic software also enables ILS to offer new options in personalization, as well as a first-level of anti-counterfeiting security. We are not only interested in helping our brands grow, but in protecting them from counterfeiting, which is a growing concern among brands of all sizes. With the Color-Logic software, we are able to bring affordable security features to our clients.’
