The Italian manufacturer Lombardi produces servo-driven flexographic presses and off-line screen printing machines, as well as label punching systems. Lombardi has a total of 120 installations across the world of which 80 are Lombardi Synchroline presses.

Lombardi Synchroline is a three-motor servo press capable of printing different kinds of substrates including paper, light cardboard and flexible substrates. The motors in Lombardi presses are geared together to gain the best accuracy in register and to minimize the gear bars. The electronic shaft keeps register accurate by means of an independent servo on each print group. The press is equipped with printing groups governed singularly by brushless motors and the setting and maintenance of the printing register of the whole press is governed by the electric board with a system of register control.

Saurabh Jain, director of A&A Labels stated that, ‘The addition of the Synchroline 430 has opened up new possibilities for us’.

‘The machine has offered us the opportunity to produce labels on flexible film as well as begin the production of mono-cartons, thereby expanding our portfolio and market reach beyond the regional level,’ said Jain.

Jain also appreciated Lombardi and its technicians for satisfying his requirements including some machine specific options. ‘The addition of this line will double our capacity in terms of converting self-adhesive materials and we expect a growth of more than 100 percent in our top line in this financial year.’

‘As a company we put a lot of effort into our solutions to address our customer requirements,’ said Ranesh Bajaj, Vinsak director. ‘It has been great to watch A&A Labels expands its production with Synchroline and further strengthen their business,’ said Bajaj.
