Integrity Print brews up 100 year celebrations

Integrity Print has marked its 100 year anniversary by partnering with customer 3 Daggers Brewery to produce a unique celebration beer. The team at 3 Daggers has created a golden ale specifically for Integrity, and all members of staff received a gift pack of the new brew as part of the company’s celebrations.

To enable as many staff as possible to be involved in the project Integrity Print ran a competition to name the new beer. Managing director Mark Cornford reviewed more than 100 entries and chose Printer’s Pleasure, submitted by Liz Brewer, one of Integrity Print’s account managers.

Commenting on his choice, Cornford said: ‘I was delighted that so many of our team got involved and there were some very funny and clever entries. The name Printer’s Pleasure seemed to embody why we are in business; we enjoy what we do and take pride in being part of the team here.’

Brewer was invited to the 3 Daggers Brewery in Wiltshire as her prize for winning the competition. She was taken through the entire brewing process, before concluding with the all-important beer tasting.

Labels for the new beer were designed by the company’s creative agency BEAF and printed in-house in full color on Integrity’s Xeikon press using a bright white self-adhesive material, with each bottle being uniquely numbered.

Integrity Print sales and marketing director Andrew Law said: ‘2016 has been an exciting year for us, as we launched a new brand, Ready Willing and Label to enable our labels business to grow organically in the artisan food and drink market. To then work with one of our brewery clients and to see the creation of our own unique beer has been a fascinating experience. We believe it’s a first for a label printer to have their own beer.’
