UK-based Integrity Print has made significant investments across all areas of its business as it continues its expansion and diversification program in the run-up to the company’s 100th birthday in November 2016.

This includes the acquisition and integration of food packaging specialist C&P Packaging, expanded laser printing and label printing capacity and the recruitment of additional staff to develop its data and e-commerce solutions.

Integrity’s Labels division acquired the assets of local company C&P Packaging in February 2016 and has now integrated the business into its Westfield site. This enables Integrity to provide bespoke short run food packaging through a Xeikon digital press and GM finishing line. The division is currently upgrading its BRC accreditation from Level 2 to the Level 1 standard required for direct food application.

The Laser and Mail division has increased mono and color laser printing capacity with the addition of a Xerox Nuvera 144 and Xerox Versant 2100 to its four continuous lasers, five cut sheet lasers and four enclosing lines. The new printers will primarily support the growth of Clarity Mail, Integrity’s outsourced office mail solution, which had sales in excess of £1million in 2015.

Integrity’s Business Print division has added a new Tamarack line, and with eight production lines it is now the UK’s leading integrated product manufacturer. Plain and printed integrated labels have become the company’s number one product by sales and the continued popularity of online shopping is expected to lead to further growth in this area.

Integrity’s Technology Services division has recruited additional developers to work on its bespoke Web 2 Print solutions for the education and food labeling sectors. The division is also developing its e-commerce platforms and has created an integrated document archiving and e-billing solution for invoicing, statements and payroll.

‘Our 100th birthday is a significant anniversary and one that we’ll definitely be celebrating with our staff and customers, but it’s vital that we continue to focus on the business transformation process to ensure a stable and profitable future,’ explained Mark Cornford, Integrity Print managing director. ‘Our expansion and diversification program is already showing results across our business divisions, and we’ll continue to look for new opportunities to meet the needs of a changing market.’
