INX continues growth in South America

INX International is continuing its growth in South America, with the integration of Brazilian ink manufacturer Creative Industria e Comercio and its debut at ExpoPrint Latin America next year.

INX continues growth in South America

Late last year, INX reached an agreement to acquire Creative. Rick Clendenning, president and CEO of INX International Ink, commented: ‘Since having Creative join our family, it has satisfied the goal of being invested in South America so we could offer packaging technologies to our global customers. Creative is one of the strongest and most respected manufacturers of flexographic and gravure packaging inks in Brazil, and has built solid relationships with customers for over 20 years.

‘Its success has become quite apparent in the past year, and having an excellent management team and all their resources on board will help us continue to grow in the future.’

ExpoPrint Latin America runs March 20-24, 2018 in Sao Paolo, Brazil. INX will present inks and coatings for the commercial, digital, packaging and publication markets, in addition to the development of hardware and software technologies for digital systems and integration. It represents the first trade show opportunity for INX in the country since it acquired Creative.

Guilherme Ribeiro, finance director at Creative Industria e Comercio, said: ‘Being the first event in partnership with INX will make it special. Having the product development expertise and global resources of INX available to us is a positive influence. It is helping our efforts as we continue expanding our ink portfolio throughout South America.’
