IP Events, the organizers of IP Protect Expo, said the event has ‘evolved and grown into the industry meeting point we hoped it would become’, noting a ‘thriving exhibition’ and conference seminars that hosted over 500 participants across two days.

Susanne Hasselmann, director of IP Events Ltd, said: ‘Whilst planning for 2015, we carefully considered the content and aims for the event.

‘During our discussions with the Anti-Counterfeiting Group, it became clear that an annual event for an audience of over 500 is a major undertaking for both us as the organizers and for the participants.

‘We therefore came to the conclusions that IP Protect Expo would be better served as a biennial event, whilst working with all our partners and stakeholders to make it a suitable addition to the industry timetable.’

The provisional date for 2016 is March 1-2 in London. Previous events have taken place at the Business Design Centre in London.
