Jindal Films strengthens innovation capabilities with testing laboratories

Jindal Films is strengthening its innovation capabilities with new testing laboratories at facilities in Europe and North America to support its strategy of accelerating growth in disruptive technology and highly differentiated products.

Work will commence immediately to install the testing laboratories and they are planned to be fully commissioned by July next year

Jindal Films is the world’s largest BOPP and BOPET manufacturer, and said the two testing laboratories, one in Virton, Belgium and the other in LaGrange, Georgia, feature state-of-the-art testing equipment for exhaustive film characterization, and will be uniquely equipped to simulate customer conditions on packaging, printing and labeling machines. A brand new highly flexible orientation pilot line will be centrally installed in Virton to better serve the company’s new developments globally, have quick access to new film prototypes and accelerate bringing new films to market.
