The 24,000 sq ft extension will help Kocher+Beck to meet the growing demand for its high quality flexible dies in the future. The facility will be fully operational in December.

Lars Beck, Kocher+Beck managing director, welcomed the Mayor of Lenexa, city officials and about 50 guests for the groundbreaking ceremony.

David Morris, Kocher+Beck USA president, said: ‘Due to our continuing growth within the North and South American market places, we are thrilled to be able to start on the next phase of expansion for our Lenexa facility.

‘This commitment will allow us to continue to offer the highest level of customer support and high quality flexible dies to our customers.’

‘After evaluating our current production facility and the requirement to increase capacity and efficiencies, it was quickly determined the best way forward was to construct an extension,’ Beck said. ‘We are excited to be able to continue to service our customers in the best possible way.’
