At Flexo Hub, customers will have the opportunity to see demonstrations of the Flexcel NX system, attend technical training or have Flexcel NX plates made for printing trials.

Earlier this year, Kodak opened a technology facility in Shanghai, China and announced a 15 million USD investment in Weatherford, Oklahoma, which is the starting signal for a new manufacturing line for Kodak Flexcel NX plates.

The opening of Kodak Flexo Hub will coincide with Labelexpo Europe 2017, also taking place in Brussels on September 25-28. Show attendees are invited to see a preview of Flexo Hub on the Kodak stand, where the Flexcel NX system will also be showcased.

Chris Payne, president of Kodak’s Flexographic Packaging division, commented: ‘Our presence at Labelexpo and the opening of our new Brussels Flexo Hub are clear testimony to the major importance Kodak attaches to the labels and packaging segment. This latest in a series of Kodak investments demonstrates our strong commitment to flexographic print technology and the importance we place on collaboration.

‘It’s clear that together we’re only just starting to unlock the full capabilities of flexo printing.’
